Shortlist of finalists for the HR Excellence Awards 2011

In a record year of entries, the HR Excellence Awards judging day, gave the esteemed panel a lot to consider when choosing who they thought was worthy of the accolade of HR excellence.

HR magazine's editor Siân Harrington, said: "We had a record number of entries this year, reflecting the important and valuable work HR professionals have been doing in their businesses in the past 12 months.

"Our 15 HR director and CEO judges debated long and hard to get to this shortlist, which hit all the criteria and displayed real excellence in human resources. "
