Vanden Broeck will be based at the company's HQ in Belgium and report to Jean Stephenne, president and general manager of GSK Biologicals, the company's vaccine business. He will build on existing HR practices for 9,000 staff across 18 locations in 14 countries. Vanden Broeck was previously HRD for North and Central Europe at Healthcare Europe for Kimberly-Clark, based in Belgium. During this time, he held a number of HR leadership positions and spent four years working with business groups in the UK.
