Ball was previously senior human resources manager for Ford's Dagenham estate, where around 4,500 are employed in diesel engine production, stamping, tooling and transport operations. She replaces Bob Blenkinsop who has been with Ford HR for 18 years and executive director since 2006. Blenkinsop is moving to a position outside the motor industry. Ball takes up the role on 1 January and will report to Ford of Europe HR vice-president Nick Caton. "I am delighted to appoint such an experienced and well-respected HR professional as Jenny to this role," said Canton.Ball joined Ford as a graduate recruit and is a member of CIPD.
