The company, which itself specialises in training companies to recognise the contribution of staff, has joined an elite group of just 1% of UK employers that have attained Investors in People (IiP's) highest accolade.
The news follows IiP's announcement in May of a radical shake up of its assessment process, adding three new tiers of achievement on top of its existing standard.
The bronze, silver and gold levels aim to promote a higher level of achievement in organisations through improvement of staff performance, communicating objectives to staff and showing delivery of results.
In July HR magazine reported Nationwide Building Society had also got the Gold from IiP.
OC Tanner bags Investors in People Gold Standard
HR consultancy O.C. Tanner officially practices what it preaches. It has become one of the few UK organisations to receive Gold status from Investors in People.
