Metro Bank to recruit an extra 250 employees this year, following surge in applications

Metro Bank, Britain’s newest high street bank, has unveiled plans to recruit 250 positions this year, and to grow to 200 stores by 2020.

The company has revealed it has received more than 40,000 applications for the 475 roles it has created in its 13 stores since its July 2010 launch. This number is set to increase as Metro Bank

This number represents roles spanning from store staff to senior management. These figures highlight Metro Bank's growing reputation as an excellent employer, and the demand to work at the UK's most customer-centric and revolutionary retail bank.

The bank recruits confident and resourceful individuals with a can do attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
