According to an analysis of 633,766 advertised jobs by jobs search engine AllTheTopBananas.com, the average advertised annual London salary is £41,500 compared with a UK average of £31,128.
The north west of the country had the lowest average salary of £29,676.
Dave Martin, managing director of AllTheTopBananas.com, said "We are also seeing advertised salaries continue to rise, putting added pressure on inflation. There's a chance this could add to the UK's economic woes in the next 12 months."
Londoners are still UK's top earners
On average Londoners earn 10,000 more than employees in the rest of the UK.
