Each Kingston HR management student will be tasked with 60 half hour interviews, which they have been prepared for.
The interview process will run until March 2012 and will attempt to find suitable volunteer 'game makers' who will welcome people to London, help with transport, language and event services, medical care and carry out many other vital behind-the-scenes roles.
Sunitha Narendran, head of the department of leadership, HR management and organisation at Kingston Business School, said: "How often does an HR student get a chance to conduct that many real job interviews with real applicants and real consequences before they even graduate?"
Lord Coe, chairman of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) said: "The interview process is a huge undertaking, but it's vitally important to find the right people for the success of the London 2012 Games".
