Glasgow Caledonian University launches people management degree

Glasgow Caledonian University has launched an undergraduate degree course in people management.

The four-year BA (Hons) degree includes classes on organisational psychology, employment relationships, managing performance, strategic HR issues, rewarding talent and managing change.

Programme leader Angela Arnold said: "The strategic day-to-day management of people is fundamental to any organisation's success and we have seen strong support for graduates in people management from a number of potential employers.

"Our programme is based on a modular structure and gives students academic knowledge and practical skills to become successful people managers and build exciting and worthwhile careers in a range of organisations and industries."
