Under the agreement, members of either organisation will have their existing credentials recognised, in the UK and Australia.

Under the agreement:
- An associate CIPD is fully equivalent to a professional member of AHRI
- A chartered member of CIPD is fully equivalent to a certified professional of AHRI
- A chartered fellow of CIPD is fully equivalent to a fellow of AHRI
