Adrian Furnham: “Do you want more creative people in your business? No”

According to University of London professor Adrian Furham, creative people are less reliable, harder to manage and difficult to reward, and organisations seeking creative people to help them innovate should think again.

Speaking at the end of last year, Furnham, who was voted 12th Most Influential UK Thinker on HR magazine's 2012 ranking, called creativity a “scientific backwater.”

Do you agree? Or is Furnham wrong? He’s speaking on the subject at the HR Talks on 7th February, going head-to-head in a debate on creativity and innovation with Dr Benjamin Reid from The Work Foundation’s Big Innovation Centre. This will be followed by an interactive workshop on creating a culture of innovation, and talks by many other fantastic speakers - all of whom are practicing HR directors.

Don't miss out - book by the end of today (25 January) to receive a £100 discount.
