HR Most Influential 2022 reader's guide: thriving in uncertainty

The annual HR Most Influential list celebrates the outstanding contributions HR practitioners and thinkers make to ongoing growth and success of the people profession.

Now in its 16th year, HR Most Influential 2022 was held in partnership with HR, payroll and finance software provider MHR, and hosted at an exclusive event aboard London's iconic HMS Belfast.

Everyone on the shortlist is nominated by their peers, with the final ranking completed by HR magazine and Hult International Business School (Ashridge).

The theme running through this year's list was how, among ongoing social and economic turbulence, practitioners and thinkers have sought to recalibrate and consider what it means for HR and its people not just to “survive” but to thrive.

How HR can thrive amidst ongoing challenge is the theme of the 2022 HR Most Influential reader's guide.

Along with full practitioners, thinkers and hall of fame lists, you will find:

  • Industry-wide perspectives on what it takes to thrive and be influential
  • 2022's most influential thinker Perry Timms and BBC Studios' Jabbar Sardar on HR's quest for purpose
