Celia Baxter was previously group HR director for Enterprise Oil, and held a similar role at Tate & Lyle, having consulted within KPMG, latterly as HR consulting group manager and principal consultant.
She started her career at the Ford Motor Company, joining its graduate training scheme and working in various HR roles in Europe.
Baxter is a non-executive director of international engineering solutions provider Senior, which has 33 operations in 14 countries, joining its board in September 2013 and becoming chair of the remuneration committee in December 2013.
She is a member of the CIPD and has a PhD in botany from Reading University.
