She has consistently appeared in the top three positions in the practitioners list while director, people & policy at BT and in 2015 being named one of the top 10 Most Influential Practitioners of the Decade.
Since leaving the corporate world to found CW Consulting Box, Waters has continued to focus on equality, inclusion and HR. She chaired Employers for Carers from 2001 to 2013, was founder and was inaugural Chair of the Employers' Forum on Belief, and Chair of the Lone Parents working group.
Today she is vice president of Carers UK, deputy chair of the Equalities and Human Rights Commission, executive board member of armed forces leavers and veterans online work- matching platform Project Fortis, an associate of Marylebone Executive Search and a trustee at Roffey Park Institute. Oh, and she has an OBE for services to diversity and equal opportunities to boot.
