The research of 1,500 employers and employees revealed a sense of optimism among the workforce.
According to the research, this upbeat mood is most pronounced in London, the South East and Scotland, where workers have the highest confidence levels in the strength of their local economy and the strongest sense of job security.
Reed group managing director Tom Lovell said the picture of a more stable and buoyant labour market.
"Interestingly, our data shows that job security is most keenly felt by middle (77%) and senior management (80%), which is encouraging given this group's grasp on the health of their organisation," said Lovell.
"The mood of the workforce is set from the top, so we may see an even more optimistic outlook in the coming months as this attitude filters through UK businesses."
Earlier this week ONS figures showed unemployment has fallen by 57,000 to 2.51 million in the three months to the end of May.
