Tranfield joins the oil and gas services facilities provider after a five-year tenure with global independent energy company Hess Corporation, where he most recently held the position of vice president, HR. Prior to this appointment Tranfield held the role of senior vice president for HR with power company TXU Europe. He also worked in managerial positions with BMW/Rover Group, Power Train, Railtrack, Amoco (UK) Exploration Company and London Underground.
He says: "Working closely with each of the businesses, my role is to further develop best practice and HR policies across the group for our 10,000 employees. I look forward to being part of the continued growth and development of Petrofac."
