Intuitive employees are less stressed

Employees who have integrity and use intuition are more resistant to stress, so enhancing their performance in work.

According to a study carried out by coaching and training company Krauthammer, 64% of employees admit they follow their own intuition in the workplace.

Fewer than one in five employees (18%) agree they can fulfil their full potential in the workplace and half believe their boss will be unsympathetic if they admit they are feeling mentally stressed.

The survey also reveals that employees want their organisations to be more focused on people instead of money and tangible success.

Commenting on the findings, Fabienne Fortanier, assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam Business School, said: "The results clearly show the more self-connected people are, the better their performance and wellbeing."

Ronald Meijers, co-chairman of the board of Krauthammer, added: "This research is shouting a message we fail to take seriously enough. We urgently need to reach consensus on a currency that does not measure the wealth but the health of the business."
