Hastings Direct creates 100 new jobs with 200 vacancies

Insurance broker Hastings Direct is to recruit 200 members of staff, including 100 for newly created jobs.

Hastings Direct has opportunities in a variety of functions including sales, customer operations, customer experience, marketing, IT, claims, underwriting, facilities and management information departments. Over half of the roles are in our customer facing areas; the starting pay is circa £17,000 which includes an average monthly bonus payment of £300, but staff members who excel at selling can earn up to an additional £2,000 a month.

The new jobs are full-time equivalents and the company would be happy to consider job share or part time workers, which may suit mums, dads, students, retirees and anyone wishing to earn extra income across a variety of shifts, which include evenings and weekends. All applicants must be aged over 18. Hastings Direct sells motor, bike, van and household insurance to the public. The company has enjoyed unprecedented growth - employing an additional 150 staff this year alone, but more new roles are needed to service this growing business.
