She replaces Charlotte White, who moves on from the company after 17 years.
Hanoman will be based in London and will oversee all aspects of northern Europe’s HR strategy, including talent and performance management, recruitment and retention, people and organisational development, and wellbeing.
Before joining Euler Hermes in May 2011, Hanoman ran her own HR consultancy, Lionlea HR Consulting. Prior to that she held HR manager roles at business consultancy Mouchel and Libra Health between 1996 and 2003.
Hanoman welcomed the new responsibilities associated with the wider geographical remit, including implementation of "agile policies" that are attuned to the different cultures and markets in which we operate and which attract those looking for a career with an international organisation.
"With so many locations – we're in more than 50 countries – cross border collaboration is essential and HR has an important role in making sure we have the right tools and processes in place to ensure our people have the necessary skills to equip them for a career with an international organisation."
