Battersea Dogs and Cats Home appoints HR director

Bryony Glenn has been appointed as HR director at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Glenn has more than 20 years experience at senior management level in HR and development in the not-for-profit, public and commercial sectors.

She started her HR career at Marks and Spencer before moving to the Big Lottery Fund, where she was head of HR for six years. Glenn then spent six years at entertainment company Merlin as HR director.

"Her wealth of experience is exemplary and Bryony shares my deep commitment to developing our people.

One of her top priorities is to really get behind our training, learning and development programmes," said Battersea Dogs and Cats Home chief executive, Claire Horton.

Glenn said: "I'm really excited to be joining Battersea and to have the opportunity to support and enable further development, focusing on the Home's most important asset - its people.

"I'm really looking forward to becoming an active member of the team and an ambassador for Battersea."
