Marshall Goldsmith is a world authority on helping successful leaders achieve positive, lasting change in their behaviour – for themselves and their people. He is the author/editor of 35 books, including bestsellers Mojo: How to Get It, How to Keep It, How to Get It Back if You Lose It (2010) and the award-winning What Got You Here Won’t Get You There: How Successful People Become Even More Successful (2007). Triggers: Creating Behavior That Lasts, his latest book, was published in May 2015.

Marshall Goldsmith has featured in the Thinkers 50 rankings, while the World HRD Congress named him the 2011 global leader in HR thinking. The Institute for Management Studies gave him its lifetime achievement award – one of only two ever awarded – and he is a fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, the highest honour for an American HR professional. The American Management Association named him one of 50 great thinkers and leaders who have influenced the field of management in the past 80 years, and BusinessWeek listed him as one of 50 great leaders in America.

He has also been acknowledged by The Wall Street Journal as one of the top 10 executive educators; by Forbes as one of the five most-respected executive coaches; by Harvard Business Review as the ‘world’s number one leadership thinker’; by CEO Global (Canada) as the ‘world’s number one leadership speaker’; by The Economist as one of the most credible executive advisors; and by Fast Company as America’s pre-eminent executive coach.

Professor Goldsmith is one of a select few advisors who have been asked to work with more than 150 major CEOs and their management teams. He served as a member of the board of the Peter Drucker Foundation for 10 years, and has been a volunteer teacher for US Army generals and Navy admirals, Girl Scout executives, and leaders of the International and American Red Cross, which named him National Volunteer of the Year.
