The Robert Walters salary survey found that FTSE 100 companies are leading the way in attracting key talent, with media companies seeking more HR professionals than ever before.
The survey – compiled from data for 2007 – also shows HR salaries increasing in line with inflation, and that benefits are becoming more important to candidates.
Elsewhere, results show that business acumen and cultural change skills are becoming increasingly valuable to employers.
“The HR market has been one of the leading recruitment sectors in 2007,” says Darren Wentworth, MD of Robert Walters’ HR division. “Employers have upped their game to attract the top HR talent. It’s no longer just about salary as candidates want more benefits than before. We’re expecting these trends to continue in 2008.”
