People wanting to enter the awards now have an extra 11 days to submit their applications. This allows more time for refining entries and for entering additional categories, organisers have explained.
The annual black-tie celebration of HR excellence, held in December, is due to take place at The Brewery in London, attended by HR professionals from across the UK.
The HR Excellence Awards offers 22 categories that range from focusing on strategic success – 'Best HR technology strategy' and 'Best learning and development strategy', for example – to individual success, for example the 'HR director of the year' award. The awards exist to champion the innovation, inspiration and impact that HR professionals bring to their organisations.
"We've listened and responded to calls from people who needed a little more time to refine their entries," explained Charissa King, HR magazine's editor. "Huge thanks to everyone to has already submitted their award entries; your hard work is appreciated, and has not gone to waste.
"But for those of you who haven't already entered our awards: get writing! And hit the 'submit' button by midday on Friday 23 August. We look forward to celebrating with you all, in December."
All HR Excellence Award entries are pored over by an independent panel of respected judges before being announced at the presentation ceremony in December.
