Drive your business forward through people strategy: ‘The HR Talks’

HR magazine is set to hold its first ever ‘HR Talks’ event, designed to encourage dialogue and discuss ideas and actions to help drive your business forward.

Through a mixture of panel sessions, interactive discussion, interviews and debates, delegates will learn from HR practitioners from award-winning organisations and leading academics in their field. Each talk will end with three essential pieces of advice to take back to your organisation - 50 pieces of advice in total.

The event will be held on 7 February 2013 at 76 Portland Place, London and the speakers will include: Janet Burr, HR director at Thames Water; Sarah Perkins, UK healthy living manager at American Express; Valerie Hughes D'Aeth, group HR director at Amey; David Smith, group HR and communications director at LV= and Jayne Billam, director of HR at the University of Lincoln.

The event includes a collaborative workshop on how to develop a culture of innovation, facilitated by  Benjamin Reid from the Big Innovation Centre at the Work Foundation. It will also feature Adrian Furnham, professor of psychology at University College London, one of HR magazine's HR Most Influential Thinkers 2012.

All delegates will receive an e-book in advance, containing case studies from all the organisations featured.

After the event, all can become part of the HR Talks community and continue the discussion through a dedicated social space and have access to extra resources, including whitepapers.
