WIG’s Diversity and Inclusion Series 2021

Starting Monday 15 March, a four day conference hosted by The Whitehall and Industry Group (WIG) will examine the importance of diversity and inclusion within organisations.

WIG’s Diversity and Inclusion Series 2021: a cross-sector approach in unprecedented times, will be made up of a series of interactive events aimed at all those involved in making their organisation a more equal and inclusive workplace.

The first day of the conference will have a line-up of expert speakers from across central government, the private sector and academia to discuss the importance of inclusive leadership.

Day two of the conference will focus on understanding how COVID-19 has changed the way that we work and day three will discuss leadership and building on the momentum of the Black Lives Matter movement.

A few of the speakers included Tara McGeehan, president at IT consultancy CGI UK, who will demonstrate the value of diversity in senior roles and June Sarpong, television presenter, diversity expert and award-winning author.
