Busy Bees rebrands as Computershare Voucher Services and launches new website

Computershare Voucher Services - formerly Busy Bees - has formally launched its new look brand and website

The new online system, which is part of a £3 million investment programme, has been designed to make it faster and easier for parents and employers to use childcare vouchers.

The new launch of the operating system coincides with a formal move by the company to no longer use the Busy Bees brand, following the acquisition by Computershare in 2008.

Simon Moore, managing director of Computershare Voucher Services, said: "With the launch of the new fully automated service, parents and carers will now be offered a much quicker and easier system that is online from end to end and which brings the childcare voucher system into the 21st century.

"We are currently campaigning strongly against Gordon Brown's announcement that the tax-relief on childcare vouchers may be scrapped by 2015. The move has been met by outrage from thousands of parents, as for many, the vouchers are a vital saving towards the cost of childcare, which is one of the biggest expenditures they face."

Childcare vouchers allow parents to exchange up to £243 per month of their gross salary for the same amount of tax-free and National Insurance-exempt childcare vouchers. For families this can mean savings of up to £2,392 a year on registered childcare, including nurseries, nannies, childminders, au pairs, out-of-school clubs and holiday schemes.
