Stephen Moir promoted to newly created role at Cambridgeshire CC

Cambridgeshire County Council has promoted Stephen Moir, formerly director of people and policy, to the newly created role of corporate director - people, policy and law following a restructure of the council's management arrangements.

Reporting to chief executive, Mark Lloyd, and a member of the council's strategic management team, Moir assumes additional responsibilities for the council's legal services, democratic and member services, health and safety and scrutiny functions, in addition to directing the work of the HR, organisational development, corporate policy and strategy, strategic partnerships, payroll and pension services.

In addition to his recent promotion within the county council, which took effect at the start of April this year, Moir has also recently been elected to the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development's executive board as a director.
