Stephen Dando has left his role as CHRO at Thomson Reuters

Stephen Dando (pictured) has left his role of chief HR officer at media company Thomson Reuters after six years.

Peter Warwick, previously COO of the professional division of Thomson Reuters and president and CEO of Thomson Reuters, Legal is his replacement as chief people officer.

The move follows a restructure at the company, following the retirement of its CEO Tom Glocer in December.

Dando, who left at the end of March, said in a letter to his team, dated December 2011: "I've decided to leave Thomson Reuters at the end of next quarter. After nearly six years in this role, I also believe it is the obvious time for me to hand on the leadership of HR as the company embarks on its next phase.

"We should all feel proud of our important role in the creation of Thomson Reuters and I'm confident HR's role at the heart of the business will be no less exciting in the period ahead."
