Ward will oversee the HR function within Servest, including developing HR policies, linking HR planning to the wider business strategy, training and improving internal communications within the group.
Although he started out in the legal profession, specialising in employment and contract law, Ward has spent most of his career within HR in commercial businesses, including P&O, Compass, Sodexo and Interserve. He was most recently head of human resources at business process outsourcing specialist Vertex Business Services and prior to that was HR director at Jarvis Accommodation Services.
