Philips Avent poised to launch wellbeing initiative for 650 employees

Philips Avent, the manufacturer of mother and childcare products, has launched a wellbeing support initiative for more than 650 employees at throughout 2012.

The healthy living programme, designed specifically for Philips Avent and launching in April, has been developed by wellbeing provider Let's Get Healthy to improve employees' overall health and lifestyles.

Employees will take part in group activities, seminars, health information and promotion all designed to improve health and wellbeing.

Let's Get Healthy will provide managers within the company with structured support and training to launch health and wellbeing campaigns and also build stress resilience and improve the management systems for those employees who may be suffering from anxiety and stress.

Nina Platt, Philips UK's reward manager for UK, Ireland and South Africa explains: "Philips UK has always prided itself on supporting and developing its employees and that's why it seemed logical to invest in a formal, company-wide initiative going forward.

"As a leading health and well being company, we want to help our employees embrace a healthy lifestyle and are pleased to be working with Let's Get Healthy on a new programme enabling our employees to benefit from a health check up and tailored ongoing support."
