The standard is awarded to organisations that demonstrate a commitment to the learning and development of their employees and achieve best practice in people management.
Only 1% of nationally IIP-accredited organisations achieve IIP Gold status, placing RLB in a minority, alongside fewer than 200 other companies.
Hilary Richardson, HR manager at RLB, said: "This is an excellent achievement and it’s testament to everyone’s hard work.
"The past couple of years have been very challenging for the construction industry, but we have always maintained the importance of investing in our people and providing our clients with a motivated, well-trained team.
"This award is valid for three years but we’ve chosen to be assessed on an annual basis going forward to ensure our standards are maintained. We have a culture of continuous improvement and want to be recognised as the employer of choice in our industry, which will help us to continue attracting the best candidates."
