With this launch, Hays Japan now operates in Akasaka and Shinjuku in Tokyo and covers the Kansai region from its Osaka office.
The Shinjuku office accommodates a bi-lingual team of 35 consultants and is headed by one of Hays Japan's most experienced senior managers, Adrian Jones. Initially, the Shinjuku team will offer specialisms spanning accountancy and finance, sales and marketing, IT, office professionals and HR and is set to develop to meet additional needs.
Hays Japan representative director Christine Wright said: "The Shinjuku launch reflects Hays Japan's expansion and the diversification of our client base. Local companies are focused on outbound growth and we see increased demand for qualified specialists among local employers, with a particular focus on highly qualified bilingual candidates."
