Getting the job may depend on how good you look

<P>Good-looking job candidates have the most success in interviews, says a new report.</p><p>Nearly 90% of employers revealed they have chosen to employ the most attractive candidate for a job, while 92% judge candidates on their appearance, according to the Peninsula survey.</p><p>Some commentators say that refusing to employ someone on the basis of their appearance could be an emerging form of modern discrimination.</p><p>Choosing the most attractive candidates does have legal risks, says headof diversity for Peninsula David Price. Most employers know better than to base employment decisions on appearance, which is related to legally protected factors such as race, age or disability. </p>
