The results of the HR Excellence Awards 2010 shortlist

The results are in... While election fever continues to grip the nation, HR magazine's panel of 13 esteemed HR directors, CEOs and academics have whittled down the mammoth number of entries in the HR Excellence Awards to a final shortlist.

HR magazine's editor Siân Harrington, who chaired the judging panel, said: "This was one of our biggest ever years for the sheer number of entries in our awards, and the competition was fierce. But after lengthy discussions and some debate our judges have chosen a shortlist that we believe reflects the strides forward our industry made in 2009."

The shortlisted organisations are listed below and HR magazine will announce the winners, as well as the Gold Award for the best overall HR strategy, at a glittering awards ceremony at the London Hilton Park Lane on 29 June 2010. Click here to reserve your place.

We will announce the shortlists for Most People Focussed CEO, next week. But in the mean time, click here to vote for your HR director of the year 2010.

There is no shortlist for the Best third sector HR strategy or initiative or Best HR strategy in a company Under 1,000 employees as the judging panel did not feel that any entry met the specific criteria outlined for those categories.
