Jacobs scooped the prize for both trade journalist of the year and employee engagement journalist of the year. She has been with HR magazine since September 2012 and was recently promoted from features editor to deputy editor.
HR magazine contributor Peter Crush, who wrote the recent e-book on employee experience, was crowned the pay and rewards journalist of the year, as well as being highly commended in the category of features writer.
Gwyther, editor of Management Today, won features writer of the year, while his publication won the peer vote for publication of the year. He has edited the publication for nine years. Previously he has written for The Observer and The Sunday Times, among others.
