Gore has worked in HR for more than 30 years across a variety of public sector organisations
Since March 2016 she has been the director of HR and OD for London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the country’s largest integrated Trusts employing more than 9,000 staff within the acute and community setting delivering care to the one million people who live in Brent, Harrow and Ealing.
The Trust merged in 2014 and had significant financial, cultural and resourcing challenges. It has reduced these significantly and she was responsible for developing the people and OD strategy to support addressing these issues. She is a board member and is responsible for developing and leading the Trust’s HR, education and OD department.
She is also the HR lead for a north-west London workforce programme encompassing 10 Trusts, the HR lead for a pan-London medical workforce programme, and an executive member of the London Partnership Forum.
Prior to joining London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust in 2016, Gore was the director of people at Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where she transformed the delivery of OD, led the development of new culture and values programmes together with a strategic leadership programme for 150 medical and non-medical senior leaders across the Trust.
Gore also spent five years working for Brent Council and the first 19 years of her career with the Metropolitan Police Service, initially working with police officers in a specialist unit. She was one of the first civilian HR managers in the police service, led a programme in north-west London to increase the diversity of the police service and thereafter undertook a range of HR roles leading and supporting the implementation of significant changes across London.
Gore is a chartered fellow of the CIPD and holds a postgraduate diploma in strategic HR and learning. She also undertakes mentoring and coaching to a number of HR professionals and medical consultants.
