Movers and Shakers

Last year we launched a new Movers and Shakers list, designed to reflect that the way senior HR practitioners exert influence, particularly later in their careers, is changing. It reflects the increasing number progressing to portfolio careers. This might include a succession of high-level interim assignments, a portfolio of board and committee appointments and/or consultancy work. Many talented HR practitioners are also choosing to exert their influence by moving to non-HR senior roles – nonetheless ensuring their work is strongly informed by their HR expertise. This list is designed to commend those still strongly impacting the wider profession, and the organisations they work with, despite not holding a permanent and/or HR role.
