Claridge’s launch tonight for this year's Most Influential rankings

HR magazine unveils the 2012 HR Most Influential ranking at a prestigious event at Claridge’s Hotel tonight.

The ranking comprises the top 30 HR practitioners, top 25 UK thinkers and top 20 international thinkers. It will be unveiled in front of 120 HR directors from some of the biggest organisations in the world, as well as academics representing the best of global HR and management thinking.

The HR Most Influential ranking is in its seventh year and celebrates the growing influence and demonstrative value that HR brings to organisations.

“It is intended to celebrate the people our readers believe have had the greatest influence in the field of people strategy in the past year,” says Siân Harrington, editor of HR magazine. “These are people who bring credibility to HR, both inside and outside the business, who challenge conventional thinking, add real value to the business and who command the respect of their peers and key stakeholders.”

Harrington will also reveal how definitions of HR influence have changed during the past 12 months.

The HR Most Influential event is sponsored by research partner Ashridge Business School, HR and payroll company Ceridian, professional services firm KPMG and career management specialist 10eighty.
