At the FCA Sheridan works alongside her team to lead key aspects of the people transformation program ensuring the regulator becomes more innovative, assertive and digitally led.
She leads a team providing a critical expertise on organisational effectiveness, future skills and resourcing, reward, culture and conduct HR operational excellence, diversity and inclusion and corporate responsibility.
Sheridan began her career in financial services with NatWest Bank and Capital One before moving to the civil service where she was the HR director for Defra and DWP. She moved to the charity sector as the HR director for the NSPCC before returning to the civil service and the Ministry of Defence.
Sheridan is a trustee for the Mental Health Foundation, a non-executive director of the CIPD and a long serving volunteer with Crisis.
As a 16-year-old school leaver she has been a lifelong learner and is a chartered companion CIPD with master’s degrees in both coaching and mentoring and organisational change.
