HRMI 2022: Nebel Crowhurst, vice president people, Into University Partnerships

Crowhurst joined Into University Partnerships in March 2022 as its vice president people. She also took up non-executive director status for Macmillan Cancer Support in June, helping to bring a people focus to the charity’s board.

Before moving, she was people and culture director for global healthcare organisation Roche UK, which was recognised as the number 1 Best Big Company to work for in 2021. 

Crowhurst was a leadership sponsor to Roche UK’s D&I ERG, playing an active role in the reverse mentoring programme. 

She was also a trustee director for the Roche UK healthcare and pensions schemes, and was a co-opted school governor for a primary school based in Sussex. 

Crowhurst previously led the people experience team at River Island. Prior to this, she had a lead role in the people and performance team at Virgin. 

She is a chartered fellow CIPD, having achieved a master’s degree in HR, as well as being a member of the Learning & Performance Institute. She is also a volunteer CIPD mentor, and a certified coach and workplace mediator.
