HRMI 2022: Belinda Gannaway, strategy director, Fathom XP

Belinda Gannaway has been with award-winning experience design agency FathomXP since 2018, having previously partnered with the company on a variety of culture change programmes.

Gannaway leads client programmes to discover and activate purpose and values, and design and deliver better employee experiences for large and small organisations, across sectors.

In 2021, she and team were recognised for their work with Crown Worldwide Group to realise its purpose at the Internal Communication and Engagement Awards Grand Prix and Business Culture Awards.

Gannaway is the co-author with Emma Bridger of the well-reviewed book EX by Design – How to Create an Effective EX for Competitive Advantage. She is a regular speaker and podcast guest, talking about employee experience (EX) design and culture.

As well as running EX training programmes for a range of organisations, Belinda hosts the global EX Design Club, which co-creates products and tools to help EX practitioners.

She is also the founder of the Culture Leaders Supper Club.

Belinda began her career as a journalist in the UK Houses of Parliament. She moved into PR and marketing before transitioning into the world of culture with the advent of the social media revolution.
