HRMI 2022: Amanda Kirby, CEO, Do-It Solutions 

Amanda Kirby is a professor and has an international reputation in the field of neurodiversity.  

She is the founder and CEO of Do-IT Solutions, delivering innovative web neurodiversity tools for education and employment, accredited and e-learning courses influencing the workplace, training HR, EDI and learning and development leads.  

She delivers the first UK accredited course on neurodiversity in the workplace, and in 2022 launched the Neurodiversity Friendly Award in partnership with the ADHD Foundation where she is current chair. 

Kirby is an emeritus professor at the University of South Wales and an honorary professor at Cardiff University. She is a qualified GP and a has a PhD relating to neurodiversity. She has personal lived experience of neurodiversity as well as being a parent and grandparent of neurodivergent children, and grandchildren.   

She has written nine books and more than 100 research papers in the field. Her latest book, published in 2021, Neurodiversity at Work, Drive Innovation, Performance and Productivity with a Neurodiverse Workforce, won the Business Book Awards in 2022. She was one of the 20 LinkedIn voices in the UK for 2020 and writes a weekly newsletter with nearly 50,000 subscribers.
