She has worked in a variety of industries throughout her career including: academia, transport and logistics and hospitality. Mansah-Owusu is a currently a talent consultant at the British Heart Foundation and manages the BHF’s early career programmes as well as consulting on diversity and inclusion initiatives. In all her roles she is focussed on allowing people to understand their passions, interests and career directions, find clarity and thrive in their careers. Mansah-Owusu is also founder of the Black Business Psychology Network.
The Black Business Psychology Network seeks to increase awareness of organisational psychology in the UK and to provide a safe space for black organisational psychologists. They host networking events, produce a podcast and generate infographics to inform people about the experiences of people from racially minoritized people at work, especially in the psychology profession. Mansah-Owusu also loves to provide flexible and informative courses to empower and motivate individuals. She understands the complexities of the modern employment world, as she completed her PhD research on career theories which highlight a changing employment relationship.
