How can organisations create a sense of belonging in the workplace?

HR magazine is excited to announce its latest HR Lunchtime Debate on how to promote belonging in the workplace.

The webinar, run in partnership with Glint, will explore how improving the diversity of the workforce cannot be effective unless organisations are willing to create a sense of belonging for employees.

Though setting inclusion targets is a positive step for organisations, it is still just one part of the equation when it comes to employee engagement levels.

The HR Lunchtime Debate will take place on 21 April at 12:30pm and will explore:

-How to encourage a sense of belonging
-Measuring ‘belonging’ in the context of employee engagement
-Simple steps to boost retention rates
-Developing HR’s diversity and inclusion strategy beyond recruitment

HR magazine editor Jo Gallacher will be joined by Shubhang Davé, head of people science EMEA at Glint.

Davé has spent nearly a decade advising people and clincial executives on talent and engagement strategies and has lots of experience working with the C-suite on workforce and culture challenges.

He said: "Belonging has always been a top driver of employee happiness and engagement, but our data suggests it is more important now than before for employees to feel a clear sense of belonging in their organisation. When employees feel that they belong at work, they bring their best selves and do their best work together."

Further panellists will be announced in the following weeks.
