HR magazine unveils the shortlists for its HR Most Influential 2012 ranking and now it’s time for the industry to vote.
HR magazine’s HR Most Influential ranking is in its seventh year and recognises the HR practitioners and thinkers who are pushing the discipline forward and challenging assumptions and practice in the field.
Our shortlist comprises people who have personal impact, both internally and externally - and particularly with the CEO and board in the case of HR practitioners; who demonstrate applicability and effectiveness of ideas and practice; and who have commercial impact.
These are not just people who run successful HR operations or who are frequently visible on the ‘circuit’ – they have taken HR to new heights within their organisation and externally, or have posited new ideas and practices that develop the field of people strategy. They have demonstrated real influence.
Our research, in conjunction with Ashridge Business School, is aimed at reaching a range of different organisations and the more people who respond, the more accurate the picture will be. We know not everyone will agree so there is an opportunity to nominate other names the HR community believes we should consider, based on the criteria. We collect only one reply from each organisation from the most senior person in the HR department.
