Macmillan Cancer Support launches online training

The organisation will make the courses available through a virtual learning zone and, as well as online courses, includes career information, advice and guidance, a learning needs assessment tool and professional development resources.

The courses, supplied by Video Arts, include communication, people management, customer service, managing tasks, equality and diversity, assertiveness, coaching, interviewing, finance and performance management.

Macmillan's learning technology manager Lesley McGuire said: "We wanted to give our professionals a more holistic approach to learning and development without having to pull them away from the workplace to attend face-to-face training."
