The organisation has signed a deal with Comensura that will provide a managed service and technology platform for the procurement of agency workers. The system will automate recruitment functions to improve efficiency and will rank recruitment suppliers against cost, responsiveness and candidate calibre.
Keeley Cooper (pictured), recruitment manager at The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, said: "This has reduced the amount we previously spent on the procurement of temporary staff. It automates a lot of processes, reducing the huge amount of administration associated with procurement."

She added: "Introducing an IT-led system has meant we now have greater visibility over our management of temporary workers."
