Business coaching is on the rise across the globe, becoming a 'global phenomenon', according to Frank Besser Consulting.
The consultancy's global survey shows there are a minimum of 43,000 - 44,000 business coaches operating worldwide, with Europe, North America and Australia accommodating 80% of them.
The top seven countries where coaching is prevalent are the US, the UK, Australia, Japan, Canada and South Africa, which account for 73% of the world's business coaches.
Coaching is not declining in any of the 162 countries surveyed and, in 27, business coaching is already recognised as a profession in itself, the survey reveals.
