Dr Linda Holbeche has joined the company board at consultancy firm, Mightywaters as non-executive director.

Holbeche, who was the number three HR thinker in the HR Most Influential Awards 2009, has had an association with Mightywater for over 10 years. Its managing director, Mark Withers, said she has now moved from a "friendly outsider" to lead an important role in the company as it plans to grow the business.

Withers added: "Linda's outstanding track record of thought leadership in OD and HR will help us to continue bringing fresh thinking to HR leaders who want to make a real difference to organisational performance"

Holbeche said: "I have always been impressed by the quality of insight, innovation and professional service provided by Mightywaters and I am therefore delighted to offer support to the company as a non-executive director at this exciting time in its development."
