Michelle Porteus has joined Liverpool Community Health (LCH) NHS Trust’s board, as director of HR

She will lead the HR, organisational development and communications teams at LCH and will play a key part in making decisions that impact on patient care across Merseyside.

Porteus gained Chartered Institute of Professional Development qualifications at Salford University and has spent 14 years working in a diverse range of fields in the public and private sectors, including financial services, IT and utilities.

Bernie Cuthel, chief executive of LCH, said: "We welcome Michelle to our board. It is essential we get our HR right, as this lays the foundations for everything else we do."
