A group of HR and employment law specialists have joined forces to launch a consultancy aimed at providing businesses and public and third sector organisations with a HR best practice advice and legal risk management.

OneKnowledge brings together a set of HR associates from across the private and public sectors with a team of employment lawyers from law firm Cobbett's.

OneKnowledge will focus on dispute resolution (including handling investigations and mediations), training, restructuringadvice and high-level recruitment by non-executive directors.

Su Makin, director of OneKnowledge, said: "In the current environment, employers are facing the perfect storm of challenging economic conditions and rapidly evolving legislation. This necessitates a level of legal understanding and detail that HR practitioners alone cannot guarantee.
